WATCH: REGION 9 REWIND — WEEK 6
This week’s Region 9 Rewind features highlights from around the region.
Snow Canyon 28, Pine View 25
Snow Canyon and Pine View delivered the game of the night, trading blows in a matchup that came down to the final possession.
The Panthers struck first behind touchdown runs from Will Hatch and Coy Doman, but Snow Canyon battled back behind quarterback Parker Olson. Olson connected with Isaiah Thompson for a touchdown to help erase the early deficit, then used his legs to find the end zone as the Warriors worked their way back into the game.
Pine View refused to go away. The Panthers scored late and converted the two-point attempt to keep the pressure on, but Snow Canyon answered when Olson floated a perfectly placed pass to Brett Bethers for the go-ahead touchdown.
Pine View got the ball back with one final chance, but the Panthers ran out of time as Snow Canyon held on for the 28-25 victory. The Warriors improved to 4-2 overall and 2-0 in Region 9 play, while Pine View fell to 4-2 overall and 1-1 in region.

Crimson Cliffs 38, Desert Hills 0
Crimson Cliffs made a statement on the road, controlling both sides of the ball in a dominant performance. The Mustangs built their lead through a balanced offense, with Hu Alisa and Tanoai Andresen leading the way on the ground and through the air. Desert Hills had flashes, including a big connection from Deacon Virgin to Brett Heiner, but the Thunder couldn't sustain drives, and a Parker Buksa interception helped keep them off the board. Crimson Cliffs cruised to a 38-0 victory, improving to 4-2 on the season and 1-1 in Region 9 play, while Desert Hills dropped to 2-4 (0-2).
Game Highlight: Hu Alisa did a little of everything for the Mustangs, hauling in a deep ball on the opening drive and later bulldozing his way into the end zone for a score.

Hurricane 49, Dixie 10
Hurricane controlled its home matchup with Dixie from start to finish. The Tigers' defense set the tone with an early fumble recovery by Tanner Matua, and the offense capitalized behind a balanced ground attack led by Kannon Cowan. Dixie found a spark through the air with a 25-yard touchdown from Ryker Muhlstein to Dane Dobler, but Hurricane had an answer every time. The Tigers pulled away for a 49-10 victory, improving to 6-0 on the season and 2-0 in Region 9 play, while Dixie fell to 1-5 (0-2).
Game Highlight: It was another Travis Larsen Construction Built Different Moment for Kannon Cowan, who powered his way across the goal line with a bruising run, then did it again on the next drive. For full photo gallery [VIEW GALLERY]

PLAY OF THE WEEK
Presented by Jimmy John's
With Snow Canyon needing a spark, Parker Olson launched one down the sideline for Isaiah Thompson, who bobbled the ball before somehow regaining control for a huge catch that put the Warriors in scoring position. The concentration to stay with the football and secure the catch earns Snow Canyon the Jimmy John's Play of the Week.
Rewind that.
BUILT DIFFERENT MOMENT
Presented by Travis Larsen Construction
Hurricane quarterback Kannon Cowan called his own number, lowering his shoulder and powering through the defense to cross the goal line for the touchdown. A bruising finish from Cowan earns the Tigers the Travis Larsen Construction Built Different Moment.
Some players are just built different.
